Influenced by her passion to serve and her background working in the field of Criminal Justice, Ms. Johnson decided to use this property to provide transitional housing services to ex-offenders, and develop an organization that would exclusively work to further this purpose. NISRE, Inc. (Nothing Into Something Real Estate) was then birthed and developed. Since our inception, NISRE, Inc. has demonstrated a proven track record of program success and organizational effectiveness. Our accomplishments include, placing more than 50 sexual-offenders in transitional housing settings, expanding our housing capacity from 1 to 4 properties, and helping 3 ex-offenders purchase a home of their own. Due to increased demand for sex offender housing, as well as the liability associated in providing housing services to this population, Ms. Johnson decided that it was time to reorganize NISRE from a private to non profit organization. On August 25, 2006, NISRE became incorporated as a nonprofit organization under the laws of the State of Ohio. Our main program is providing specialized, affordable housing to adult males convicted of sexual offenses through “The EXIT (Ex-offenders In Transition) Program” Our services are limited exclusively to ex-offenders, for which the organization was formed. We have two programs. Our main program is The Exit Program and the other is our Step Over Housing program. ![]() |
